A fun experience, made memorable by having our appetites satiated by good food at very good prices, kids kept entertained, and a bizarre yet memorable encounter with one of HK's true characters. We stayed so long we got to meet the owner (Paul?) who sent out a round of shooters on the house and regaled us in some stories. The meat was beautifully tender and falling off the bone but best of all the crackling on the outside.done to a crisp! And our children (4 & 6 years of age) got to make their own pizzas which was a lot of fun for them and a welcome break for us. My wife had the mussels - a huge bowl for just $95 and served with a baguette of garlic bread - and I had a pork knuckle ($120) which came with sauerkraut and fries. but chef was kind enough to come out and ask us what we fancied. Two of the items we wanted so badly had sold out (sardines and bouillabaisse) and there were no offerings for kids. Menu varied every week and was written on a blackboard posted outside.
